Making used things new

In the dream my husband & I go to buy two "used" cars. I don't remember what he got, but I bought a black mercedes benz - it was still relatively new and beautiful & full of power, but I was still very comfortable driving it. Somehow I heard that a company I use to work for (Lucas/Eilers, a small interior design firm) was going public & to be traded on the stock market. I was very surprised by this as it didn't seem a good fit for them. So I went to their new offices to check it all out. I learned that their stock price had really dropped as Sandy, one of the principles, was unable to complete a design job for some reason & it hurt the value of the stock, although they were still up & running as a company. As I was ready to leave my husband came in & said he needed to pick up his dry cleaning. As I started to say that his dry cleaning would not be here he walked around the corner to an office & picked up a suite & tie that was still in all the dry cleaning wrap & showed me the tie. He said, "See, isn't this nice?". I said we needed to pay for the cleaning, but he said no we don't & we left with it. I was still concerned that we should have left $20 for the cleaning even though Lucas/Eilers wasn't a dry cleaning store, it seems we drove off in the black mercedes. The dream ended.
